Sweden is committed to reducing the vehicle park’s carbon dioxide emissions by 70 % by 2030. The fuel industry is looking for new products to replace fossile crude oil and lignin from forest residue, which was previously regarded as a troublesome by-product from the pulp and paper industry, is now an interesting and potential raw material.
